Veterans Recognition Dinner 2018

On Sunday evening, November 18, the Veteran Association of the First Corps of Cadets held its 17th annual Veterans Recognition Testimonial Dinner at the Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy. Today’s Veterans Recognition Testimonial began as the “Greatest Generation” event on 28 July 2002, which focused on WWII veterans. Today, the few remaining veterans of WWII as well as the veterans of Korea and Vietnam are the honorees. This event continues to be uniquely meaningful  as families and friends gather to acknowledge and to express their thankfulness for the patriotism of often unsung heroes. The military biographies of the award recipients prepared by the secretary of the VAFCC Board of Directors, COL (MA) Dean Saluti, and his business partner and wife Marjorie Kahn are included below. Mr. Dirk Burrowes, President of Vytek Industrial Laser Systems, provided the granite, engraved testimonial plaques to the awardees.
